I am writing a short message to discuss my view regarding the quality of work that was put in by Laura Jewett.  One word I would use would be superb.  With every question I had, she had a clear, coherent, and concise answer that I could understand.  When I was finished with the home buying process, I did not fell worn out, stressed or angered as I have heard so many others have been.  I would like to take this opportunity to go into some specific instances in which I was impresses and pleasantly surprised.

My first contact with Laura was filled with many questions.  She asked me what I was looking for specifically.  Where? What price range? Single family, town home or condominium? One story or two? And many other more specific details that would help her in her search.  When she came back with a list of nearly 50 homes, I was overwhelmed.  She then took the time to look through each one individually on paper with me.  When we had finally narrowed it down to about fifteen, we went driving.  Laura was constantly upbeat and always looking out for my best interest by suggesting possible mortgage companies, title companies, and home inspectors.  Everyone that she suggested was extremely competent and professional. 

Once we looked at all the homes, she had me list them by a rating system, which made the decision process much easier.  Step by step she led me easily through every aspect of the purchase.  Whether it was meeting me for inspections and walkthroughs or being an intermediary at the signing, she was always there to help and support my decisions.  Laura went far above and beyond what she needed to do.  For example, I had planned a trip right in the middle of the signing procedure.  She was able to track me down on the freeway near Vancouver, Washington and fax information to a mailing office so we could still meet our projected closing date, which we did.  Not to mention that when I said I wanted minimal out of pocket cost, I had no idea that I would actually get money back by the time I was in my new home.  In short, I think Laura Jewett did a very thorough, effective, and efficient job.  I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to buy a home and would like to understand and enjoy the process.
